Second edition of the Data Challenge
On June 23rd, the Mathematical Society Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris (FSMP) was celebrating the laureates of the second edition of the Data Challenge.
Organised by Stéphane Mallat and Gilles Wainrib of the Département d’Informatique de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, and supported by the FSMP, the Data Challenge gathers teams of researchers and students around data mining problems arising from real data (whether video, audio, medicial, biological or financial, issued from social networks), which are submitted by firms or scientists.
The laureates Jonathan Donier, Johan Ferret, Martin Delzant, Mengshi Wang et Karen Alexandra Vasquez Vivas, standing on the picture together with the organizers Gilles Wainrib and Stéphane Mallat, have been selected among some 600 participants.
