« Women of Mathematics throughout Europe » hosted at CIRM
Thirteen portraits offering an unusual insight into mathematics... The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Cirm) in Marseille Luminy (France) will host the exhibition "Women of Mathematics throughout Europe, a gallery of portraits" as of March 6th, 2017 for International Women Day.
On this occasion, Cirm is also proud to present "Women at Cirm - Talks & interviews", an audiovisual library of talks and interviews given by international female mathematicians at Cirm. Click here to access the playlist.
The exhibition "Women of Mathematics throughout Europe. A gallery of portraits" is organized by the association European Women in Mathematics (EWM), jointly with the EMS Women in Mathematics Committee, and is curated by Sylvie Paycha (Potsdam University). It was held in Berlin at the 7th European Congress of Mathematics (opening of the Exhibition on 20 July 2016).
