The 2017 André Parent Prize
The André Parent Prize honours a research work led by a group of young mathematicians of secondary and high school.
The research may or may not be supervised. It should handle a scientific subject in which mathematics play an important role. The selection committee takes into account the relevancy of the subject chosen, the mathematical skills of the candidates, as well as the capacity to present their subject to a general public audience.
This year, the André Parent Prize was awarded to 4 high school students of the Lycée Français Prins Henrik in Copenhagen, namely: Sophia Sanchez, August Solliv, Maxime Ribeau and Raphaël Merlin. Their research work was entitled: "Ça roule ! … sans glisser".
