Call for applications for the Gabriel Lamé Chair

Scientific results

The Gabriel Lamé Chair (visiting professorship) is a joint initiative of the French Embassy in the Russian Federation and the Saint-Petersburg State University.

Its aim is to reinforce the scientific relations between the French and Russian mathematical communities. The chair is held by a mathematician employed by a French public institution. The laureate is enabled to spend three months in Saint-Petersburg, give a lecture course and organize a seminar and a conference in his or her research field. These events, as well as the visit itself, are funded by the French Embassy in Russian Federation, the Chebyshev Laboratory, and the Fondation Mathématiques Jacques Hadamard.
