The INSMI welcomes Emmanuel Royer among its scientific team
Emmanuel Royer joins the INSMI as of February 2018, as a Scientific Deputy Director in charge of professional and skill-based networks, teaching, communication, dissemination and parity.
Emmanuel Royer is a Professor at Clermont-Auvergne University. He is a member of the Blaise Pascal mathematics laboratory LMBP (a CNRS & Clermont-Auvergne University maths lab). A specialist in number theory, he works on differents aspects of modular forms.
Born in 1973, he studied at Ecole polytechnique and at Paris Sud Orsay University, where he defended his PhD thesis in 2001 under the supervision of Etienne Fouvry and Philippe Michel. He directed the LMBP laboratory from 2014 to 2017 and was a member of the academic board of Clermont-Auvergne University.
