Appel IHP pour programmes thématiques, research in Paris et cours doctoraux
Until October 15th 2025, the Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP) launches 3 calls for proposals. These programmes are coordinated and organised by a dedicated team, the Centre Émile Borel.
IHP is open to all the disciplinary fields in which mathematics, theoretical physics and computer science play an important role - from the most fundamental aspects to applications. Applications are assessed by the IHP Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) twice a year (in June and November). The institute pays attention to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Therefore, the SAB expects from the applicants that their choice of scientific committee members, of speakers, and of invitees take those matters into account.
Thematic programmes 3 / 6 / 12 weeks | Research in Paris | Formation doctorale |
Coordinated by an organising committee of two to four researchers, assisted by an international scientific committee, a thematic programme can last three, six or twelve weeks and accommodate between 50 and 120 international scientists for conferences, courses and seminars. | This programme is ideal for developing or finalising a project with a small group of collaborators who are geographically distant and can gather at IHP over a period of one to six weeks. | If you have a doctoral course project that takes the form of lectures or intensive work groups, IHP will support you in its premises or in those of partner institutions. |
