Every year, CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research) recruits permanent researchers in all scientific disciplines.
21 positions are concerned in section n°41, namely 'Mathematics and interactions of mathematics':
- 6 Senior scientists 2nd class. Competitive entry is open for research themes pertaining to Section n°41.
- 2 Associate scientists 1st class. Competitive entry is open for research themes pertaining to Section n°41.
- 10 Associate scientists 2nd class. Competitive entry is open for research themes pertaining to Section n°41.
- 2 Associate scientists 2nd class. Position for mathematical projects in interaction with other sciences.
- 1 Associate scientist 2nd class. With a research program devoted to « High-dimensional statistics and other mathematical foundations of machine learning ». Candidates should propose a research project such that they could join one of the INS2I laboratories.
The application period runs from December 1, 2016 to January 6, 2017.
Pre-selection based on written applications is possibly followed by an interview, taking place between February and June. Results are announced in July for a 1st day on the job between October 1st, 2016 to February 1st, 2017.
