2019 Åsgard Programme for scientific visits to Norway

It consists in two programmes:

• The Åsgard Research programme

The Åsgard Research Programme is managed by the Department for scientific cooperation of the French Embassy in Norway.

It aims at inviting French and Norwegian scientists for a one-week visit respectively to Norway or to France. During their stay, they will be given the opportunity to meet their counterparts, visit private and public research institutions, and give a series of lectures and courses.

• The Åsgard Innovation programme

Launched in 2017, The Åsgard Innovation programme is a cooperation project between the Research Council of Norway and the Department for scientific cooperation of the French Embassy in Norway.

It aims at inviting French and Norwegian actors from the innovation and technology transfer fields for a one-week visit respectively to Norway or to France. During their stay, they will be given the opportunity to meet their counterparts, visit private and public organizations.
