2019 Marc Yor Prize

Distinctions

The 2019 Marc Yor Prize is jointly awarded to Rémi Rhodes and Vincent Vargas for their works on multiplicative chaos and Liouville quantum gravity. Congratulations !

 

Rémi Rhodes is a Professor at Aix-Marseille Université and a member of the Institut de mathématiques de Marseille (I2M - CNRS, Ecole centrale Marseille & Aix-Marseille Université).

Vincent Vargas is a Junior Researcher at CNRS and a member of the Département de mathématiques et applications (DMA - CNRS & ENS Paris).The Marc Yor Prize is awarded every year to a mathematician under 40 years old for a groundbreaking contribution to the theory of probability, its applications or its numerical developments.
