A new Scientific Deputy Director in charge of the international policy at the INSMI

Jean-Stéphane Dhersin is the new Scientific Deputy Director of the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences and their Interactions (Insmi) in charge of the international policy of French mathematical research. He took his position on September, 1st, 2017 and is replacing Sinnou David who has been working in Insmi for five years.

A Professor at University Paris 13 and a member of the LAGA laboratory, Jean-Stéphane Dhersin is a specialist of the theory of probabilities and has been directing the Laboratoire International Associé Formath Vietnam (LIAFV) for a year.
