Yves Meyer receives the 2017 Abel Prize

Distinctions

The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters awards the 2017 Abel Prize to Yves Meyer, Centre de mathématiques et de leurs applications (CMLA, CNRS & École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay), "for his pivotal role in the development of the mathematical theory of wavelets".
