Aurélie ChampvertAdministrative Deputy Director

Aurélie Champvert is Deputy Administrative Director of the Institut national des sciences mathématiques et de leurs interactions (Insmi).

After studying training engineering, Aurélie Champvert joined CNRS in 2007. She began her career in the training department of the Human Resources Department, before moving to the senior management delegation. In 2012, she was seconded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Louisiana, where she became Director of the Alliance française de la Nouvelle-Orléans. She then continued her career in linguistic and cultural cooperation by managing the Alliance française de Tamatave in Madagascar.

In 2021, Aurélie Champvert returned to the CNRS as General Secretary of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Paris Nord, before joining the Insmi in November 2024.

Today, she is responsible for overseeing all the Institute's research support activities (communication, management, finance, human resources, contractualization, innovation and national programs).  Working closely with the Scientific Director, she contributes to the development of scientific strategy. It also interfaces with units, regional delegations, functional divisions and CNRS partners within the Insmi's scientific perimeter.
